After God’s Own Heart

September 9, 2018 – October 7, 2018

The Bible describes David as a shepherd, a musician, a poet, a warrior, and a king. Perhaps the most interesting description of David, however, is one little line in 1 Samuel 13:14 which called David “a man after God’s own heart”. In this study, we explore what that phrase means and what it looked like in David’s life. We also discuss ways we can strive to align our hearts more closely with God’s in our daily lives.

Lesson 1 A Humble Heart

Lesson 2 A Passionate Heart

Lesson 3 A Loving Heart

Lesson 4 A Thankful Heart

Lesson 5 A Repentant Heart
