Sundays at 9:00 AM
St. John’s offers one regular worship service Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM. Special services are also held on most holidays and during the church seasons of Advent and Lent. Please refer to our Calendar for specific dates and times.
Our worship services follow traditional Lutheran liturgies, but also incorporate some contemporary worship elements. A regular Sunday service typically involves confession and absolution, 3-6 songs, a 10-15 minute sermon, a children’s message, public prayer, the recitation of the Apostles or Nicene Creed, and several Bible readings. Communion is also regularly offered to members of our church. Here at St. John’s, we strive to make sure every worship service proclaims God’s Word in an orderly, memorable, and high-quality way.
